For gender aspect, it is attempted to be integrated in all conflict management, reintegration and peace building phases.
Except, don’t let Gender becoming a must, although in fact it merely hampers or even encounter new conflicts. Hence, gender concept should not be adopted from the existing gender concept which is generated from lesson learned from other region, but born and generated of local values and aspiration.
At least, gender aspect is in line with social, culture, values and norms applied amongst the community. Each community has ‘not bad’ culture and value as well as in gender perspective.
I tend to harmonize and consolidate local institution and local values in the gender context instead of forming or forcing gender paradigm which may be not suitable or even in contrary with the local context or potential, and later will lead to NEW CONFLICT
